Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is planning to unveil new foldable phones in the coming months. It is said that the Mix Fold 4 is anticipated in the second half of the year, while the first half may see the launch of a flip-style foldable phone named the Mix Flip. However, ahead of the official announcement, a tipster has come up with the chipset details of the Xiaomi Mix Flip.
Xiaomi MIX Flip chipset details
- On Weibo, a Chinese tipster mentioned that Xiaomi has a few devices in development that will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
- The leaked information implies that, alongside the Redmi K70, Xiaomi’s forthcoming tablet and compact foldable phone, likely the Xiaomi Mix Flip, will also employ the same chipset.

Currently, there are no details available about the other features of the Mix Flip. Nevertheless, the recently leaked schematic showcases a camera arrangement reminiscent of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra but housed in a smaller form. The setup comprises three camera sensors, featuring a 3x telephoto lens and an LED flash.
In September, details from an IMEI database disclosed the model number of the device as 2311BPN23C. Reports suggest that the initial version of Mix Flip might be limited to the Chinese market.
It is anticipated to compete with the Honor Magic Flip and the Vivo X Flip 2, both expected to debut in the first half of 2024. In contrast to the MIX Fold 3, the MIX Flip is anticipated to be priced slightly lower.
