Honor X50 Pro 5G specifications, design revealed via official teaser ahead of launch

Chinese smartphone maker Honor recently unveiled the Honor 90 GT smartphone and the brand is set to launch the Magic 6 series in China in early January. Meanwhile, the company is also planning to launch the Honor X50 Pro 5G. While Honor hasn’t revealed the official launch date of the upcoming X50 Pro 5G, it is rumoured that the phone might be released alongside the Magic 6 series.
Honor X50 Pro 5G chipset, display, and battery details
- An official poster has revealed that the Honor X50 Pro 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ SoC, but the exact processor is not disclosed.
- The upcoming phone will feature a curved display with 1.5k resolution and eye-protection certification.
- The Honor X50 Pro 5G will be equipped with a 5,800mAh battery, and it is expected to support fast charging.
Honor X50 Pro 5G design details
- As per the poster, the design includes golden accents around the circular camera module, housing two cameras and an LED flash.
- The handset’s design aligns with the Honor X50, featuring a circular camera module.
- The Honor X50 Pro 5G will be available in two colour options – Black and Green.
On the other hand, Honor is also planning to launch another phone – Honor X50 GT – in China. The company hasn’t revealed anything about the phone, but as per reports, it will feature a 6.81-inch FHD+ display and is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone might pack a 50MP main camera and a 16MP front shooter. It is expected to house a 4,800mAh battery with fast-charging support.
Meanwhile, the recently launched Honor 90 GT sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4nm SoC paired with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It runs on Android 13-based Magic UI 7.2.
The Honor 90 GT sports a 50MP main sensor with LED flash, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and macro shooting support. It has a 16MP selfie camera. There’s a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging technology.
