Samsung is expected to launch a new 5G smartphone in India soon, and the rumour mill suggests it’s going to be the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G. The device’s India launch is imminent as the support page for the Galaxy F54 5G has now gone live on Samsung’s website. The new sighting comes shortly after the smartphone bagged the BIS certification.

The Galaxy F54 5G bearing the model number SM-E546B/DS was spotted on Samsung India’s website by TheTechOutlook. There’s no other information about the device but this confirms an upcoming launch in the country soon. The same model number was also spotted on the BIS certification website, further adding to the speculation.

The new device will be part of Samsung’s Galaxy F series which is its Flipkart-exclusive smartphone series. It is also expected to be available through Samsung India’s online store. As far as its specifications are concerned, there are no details yet but the Galaxy F54 5G is expected to launch as a rebranded version of the Galaxy M54 5G that launched in the Middle East earlier this year.

Samsung Galaxy F54 specifications

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Galaxy F54 5G was spotted on the SGS Fimko certification website with the same model number as the Galaxy M54 5G. The listing also revealed that the device will pack a 5,830mAh battery which would officially be 6,000mAh, and it will come with 25W fast charging support.

If the Galaxy F54 5G is indeed a rebranded Galaxy M54 5G we can expect the smartphone to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It could sport a triple rear camera setup and a 32MP front camera. The smartphone will most likely be powered by the in-house Exynos 1380 chip with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. On the software front, it will run Android 13 with One UI 5.1 layered on top.
