If the rumours so far haven’t impressed you much, there are some interesting AI features to look forward to with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

• Coming to photos, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro’s AI camera will be able to give you the “perfect group photo” even if there’s someone distracted.
• If that’s not enough, the AI will even merge everyone’s best shot for the “perfect team picture”. This implies taking everyone’s best expression from a group of shots and merging them into one.
• The new AI features hint at some major possibilities of Google giving you the best possible photos and videos. It’s not confirmed though if these features will actually arrive with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8 voice replies

Another feature spotted by Rahman (via Android Authority), is the possibility of Google Assistant replying to messages on the Pixel 8. So if you receive a message on your phone, you can ask Assistant to reply to it by dictating the message. As for this feature, it could launch with the Pixel 8 or arrive later as a Pixel feature drop.
