iQOO Neo 9, iQOO Neo 9 Pro full specs revealed ahead of December 27th launch

The iQOO Neo 9 series is launching in China on December 27th. The brand’s upcoming premium mid-range series will include two phones — iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. The first iQOO Watch and the iQOO TWS 1e is also launching alongside the Neo 9 smartphones. Now ahead of the launch, full specs of the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro have been revealed to us courtesy of tipster Ishan Agarwal.

iQOO Neo 9, Neo 9 Pro specs leaked

iQOO so far had confirmed a few details about the Neo 9 series smartphones. These include:

• Design of both the phones were revealed confirming the colour options as well. These include Blue, Black and Red. iQOO Neo 9 in Red will feature a white strip running along the back of the phone for a dual-tone design.
• In terms of specs, the iQOO Neo 9 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, while the Neo 9 Pro gets the MediaTek Dimensity 9300.

As for the rest of the specs, here’s what to expect from the iQOO Neo 9 series.

iQOO Neo 9, Neo 9 Pro specs (leaked)

• Display:iQOO Neo 9 Pro and Neo 9 will both feature the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display (2800x1260p resolution) with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Neo 9, however, will come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
• Processor:The Pro model is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the vanilla one gets the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
• RAM and storage:Both phones will come in two variants of 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
• Cameras:The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is said to sport a 50MP primary camera with OIS paired with a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies, the smartphone will most likely house a 16MP front camera. The vanilla Neo 9 is getting the same specs except for the ultra-wide, which would be an 8MP sensor.
• Battery, charging:It will pack a 5,160mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
• Software:In China, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.

In line with the official information, the iQOO Neo 9 series is also tipped to come in three colour options of Blue, Black and Red-White dual-tone design. Both phones will feature a plastic frame as well. In India, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro is tipped to launch with a different chipset but it’s too early for any confirmation on this right now.
