MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset crosses 2 million mark on AnTuTu, sets new record

MediaTek’s upcoming processor, the Dimensity 9300 has been spotted on the benchmarking website, AnTuTu. The AnTuTu scores are what’s important here as the Dimensity 9300 has made a new record. MediaTek is yet to launch the new Dimensity chipset but it’s expected to debut soon.

MediaTek Dimensity 9300 AnTuTu scores

  • The AnTuTu scores were sharedon Weibo, and here the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 has scored over 2 million, which is a new record for an Android smartphone. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset reportedly crossed the 2 million mark as well. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is an octa-core chipset with four Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores.
  • The upcoming MediaTek chipset is also equipped with the Immortalis-G720 GPU. The chipset supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The AnTuTu listing also shows that the chipset also support up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Details about which device has been used for the benchmark hasn’t been revealed. But there are reports that suggest the Vivo X100 series, and the OPPO Find X7 series will launch with this chipset. Vivo is yet to announce the launch of the X100 series but there have been leaks revealing key details about the upcoming phones.

Vivo X100 specifications

  • Vivo X100 series is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, curved edges and a punch-hole camera.
  • The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset is said to power the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, while the X100 Pro+ will most likely come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
  • Leaks suggest a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 200MP telephoto lens for the Vivo X100 Pro+, and a 64MP 100mm periscope camera for the X100 Pro. Vivo is also said to use a new customised Sony LYT800 sensor that is specifically designed for the X100 series.
  • Vivo X100 Pro is expected to pack a 5,100mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
  • On the software front, the Vivo X100 series will most likely run Android 14-based Funtouch OS.
