Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is gearing up to launch the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone. Recently, details about its 3D cooling system, and charging details surfaced online, and now, Liu Fengshuo, President of the OnePlus Products Line has come up with the chipset details ahead of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch event in August.

Without revealing much details, the company executive disclosed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This is the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm that powers the likes of the OnePlus 11.

In the coming months, the Chinese smartphone brand is anticipated to unveil three phones in its homeland: OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 3, and OnePlus Open.

On the other hand, there are widespread speculations that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro might receive a different name when launched in the global market.
