Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro launch date in India tipped

After launching the Vivo X90 series in China and globally, the Chinese tech giant is gearing up to bring the flagships to India, if the latest report is anything to go by. Pricebaba has now exclusively reported the launch date of the Vivo X90 series in India, citing tipster Yogesh Brar. To recall, the Vivo X90+ is one of the first phones to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, while the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro debuted as the world’s first with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. 

Vivo X90 series India launch date (expected) 

The Vivo X90 series India launch date is tipped to be April 26th, according to the report. This means we can expect the official announcement sometime later this month. Like with the global launch, we can expect only the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro to debut in India as well. 

Vivo X90 series specifications 

Vivo X90: Vivo X90 sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, HDR10+, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, stereo speakers, aptX HD, and Hi-Res audio. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.  

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset paired with Immortalis-G715, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 out of the box. The Vivo X90 packs a 4,810mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. The phone measures 164×74.4×8.8mm and weighs 195 grams.  

Moving to optics, the Vivo X90 will have triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP IMX866 primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, OIS, EIS, and LED flash, a 12MP portrait sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 32MP snapper on the front with f/2.45 for selfies and video calls 

Vivo X90 Pro: Vivo X90 Pro flaunts a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, 20:9 aspect ratio, 452 PPI, 2160Hz PWM, HDR10+, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution. There is a 4870mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
